XF has already secured the 'Car of the Year "awards from two leading automotive magazine in the UK and more than 30 other honors around the world, so the new XFR, a new high performance diesel and a number of changes to Model Year 2010, including the launch of a new luxury model' Portfolio ', will make the XF even more attractive proposition.
Featuring all-new AJ-V8 Gen III gasoline engine and the new AJ-V6D Gen III diesel engine, the XF now deliver more power and more performance with fuel economy comparable or better and the emissions from the engines they replace.
XFR is supported by all new supercharged 510PS (510bhp SAE) V8 with acceleration from 0-60mph in just 4.7 seconds so that the main sporting Jaguar saloon. A 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated, producing 385PS, the power of another V8 XF model.
Distinguished by unique exterior and interior design features, including revised bumpers XFR and lower front air intakes, the threshold extension, louvres and hood grille, four tailpipes, boot-lid spoiler, unique seats and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The new XF 3.0-liter AJ-feature V6D Gen III diesel engine is available as a twin sequential turbocharged S version 275PS/600Nm or 240PS/500Nm. Both offer exceptional efficiency and improvement and in the case of Diesel S accelerates from 0-60 in just 5.9 seconds.
With 275PS, the new XF 3.0-liter diesel's 33 percent more powerful than the acclaimed 2.7 liter TDV6 replace. Peak torque of 600Nm at a substantial, with 61 percent more torque available from 1500rpm.
Each new engine for the XF has a very competitive range of fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures. Both diesel versions deliver a combined fuel consumption average of 42.0mpg - an improvement on 2.7 liter engine is recognized nearly 12 percent - and 179g/km CO2.
In the UK, the price of the new XF range starts at £ 32,900 for the petrol 3.0-liter. 3.0-liter diesel model is available from £ 33,900 while the 3.0-liter Diesel S starts at £ 36,900. XFR is the price of £ 59.900 .* These models are available from late March.
