Subaru unwraps 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX with wider body design at New York Auto Show
Japanese car maker Subaru Impreza WRX unveil 2011 New York Auto Show. Design lines expressing the intention of manufacturers to close the gap between style and model WRX STI. 2011 Impreza has a wider body and a more aggressive stance than the conservative look than the outgoing model.
The new Impreza WRX has a wide front and rear. It also comes with a 17-inch alloy rims matched with 235/45R17 tires. Indeed WRX 2011 ready to pounce on the road compared with the older brother.
The 4-door hatchback version and still sports a turbocharged 2.5L engine that can deliver 265 horsepower. Couped engine with manual gearbox with 5-speed configuration.
Wider body resulting in an additional 33 pounds but it really does not affect car performance. Sedan will be 6.5 inches longer and logical offers more storage space than the hatchback version.
The design team also injected a sharp corner bumpers, fog lights broader unconscious to blend well with the new profile. Some aerodynamic features like the front spoiler was also added to the lower lip.
